Ma olen nüüd ametlikult liiga väss, et inglise keeles jätkata aga tööd on nagu murdu olnud. Kõikidest aga pilte lisada ei ole lihtsalt mõtet ja tehes reklaamitöid, riietades õhtujuhte ja muud säärast, siis pole ka palju pildimaterjali, mida portfoolio alla liigitada.

Tore üllatus oli kampaanias "Teksades rinnavähi vastu" osalemine, kus mul paluti redesign'ida vanad teksad ja need siis näitusele läksid MOODi esindama (jällegi pilte mul pole).
Õmblustöid on jagunud ka teisel rindel - nimelt plaanime Lenna Kuurmaa shooti, ja no nii kahju kui see ka ei ole, siis kõike ägedat lihtsalt ei ole võimalik poest saada, tuleb ise teha. Siin kohal tänusõnad Ailenile, kes aitas rätsepateadmistega ;)

Nii pea kui fotograafipreili Staak mulle saadab pildid, lisan siia ka bikiiniseeria pildid, mis muideks sai tehtud Lõuna-Prantsusmaal Nizzas.. isegi sellest sõidust pole jõudnud blogida. Igal juhul minu pärast muretsema ei pea, raban lihtsalt kõvasti tööd teha ja olen ülimalt rahul, kui lahedaid töid on sülle kukkunud ja kui palju mõnusaid inimesi on kohatud :)

co-fashion editor in magazine Mood with Britt Samoson. As she puts it "now we have two fashion editors

Finally I have come to a point where I have some time actually to take a look at the shows of autumn/winter 2011.

And I love the collection of Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, its so playful and fun. I adore the colours and the combinations of them, cartoon prints and beautiful experimental cuts... oohhh I feel how my inner playful child is coming out and would love to wear all the pieces!

Ohh how sorry and bad I feel.. I posted almost 2 months ago, unbelievable.
But you know I have been really really busy.. lot of great job opportunities came my way and tho its really hectic and I haven't had a good long sleep for a month now I'm really enjoying it all.
Some good stuff will be published soon and after that I can post the pics in here as well.
But for now you can enjoy my latest work - Tallinna Kaubamaja's spring campaign.
We took the inspiration from the 50s, stripes and sea symbols. The outcome is fun, positive and retro :)

Sometimes I feel so blessed.. just about everything. About my work and what I'm able to do, my friends and acquintances, my family etc. And now I was made an amazing job offer which I can't tell you right now, but believe me this opportunity comes once in a lifetime, at least for a person as young as me, and I'm going to take it. That doesn't mean that I'm going to leave my job in Tallinna Kaubamaja's marketing department.. not at all! I just have to manage both of these tasks and well it's a fact that when you do a lot, you manage a lot!

I truly feel blessed. Probably I have done something good in my past life so that these opportunities just fall into my lap :)

Today I'm wearing newly purchased stockings which really have the ethnic vibe with beautiful embroidered details.

These stockings are actually made by the oldest Estonian hosiery factory SUVA (http://www.suva.ee/). Their ethnic collection is really worth the money, love them.

Tribute to music!

Music is the best source of inspiration :) I love the sounds that really are capable of boosting my emotions as high as possible. When I listen music with vocals I always start to analyze the fact that would this be the song I would like to sing and perform somewhere.. and if this is something that would be a joy to my vocal cords, I'll probably listen to it more than just couple of times.. a thousand to be precise :) Why I imagine myself singing is because I have been singing my whole life and although I love fashion and styling etc I would probably be the happiest doing and performing music.. and thats a fact!
So here are some of my favorites of the last few days.. and I picked live versions cause I love to watch sincere performences and you can see singers real personality and their expressions are great to watch:)

Couple of weeks ago I attended Vintage Tallinn fair. Very nice and amusing event. The minute I walked in I saw glasses that I have been searching for so long.. and they were perfect :) just bare frames where I need to put real glasses inside.. hopefully I'll be doing it soon enough to show you the pictures of me wearing them. Tho I must say, those frames are quite famous already- they were used in one of the photo shoots.

And some other weird things I have been blessed with lately.. Couple of magazines in chinese and some hair extensions with clips.. These are the things that my sister brought me from China :) Hair extensions were needed for my last photo shoot, which I had last Sunday, but unfortunately they weren't as good as I hoped, so we used better ones that the hairdresser brought a long.. but no worries, I'll use them someday somewhere...

Couple of weeks ago I had a really icy photo shoot..literally.. with ice cubes and everything .. but without models! or let me correct myself, models weren't living breathing creatures :) and to keep ourselves warm we had to drink some champagne.. well the champagne really was for the sake of beautiful outcome :P

It's busy week - going to have 3 shoots and one of them is actually taken of me for the magazine Mood..

Started a new class yesterday- fashion photography and it was really interesting :)
The fact that the lecturer is a professional photographer Laura Kallasvee (I have mentioned her couple of times on my blog) makes it even more reliable. Now I need a new camera and it has to be good! At least thanks to Laura I know what I should be looking at while buying a camera.

Fashion Week starts today and I'm going to take a seat on 3 of the following shows:
At 5 pm: Britt Samoson, Piret Ilves

At 7 pm: Gerli Liivamägi, Diana Denissova
At 9 pm: Katrin Kuldma

Moreover, I was asked to dress up the fashion week host Robert Kõrvits. We chose the 60s vibe - Mad Men theme etc. He himself was very keen to it, so it was fun. Today he is going to look a bit more loose and funky rather than formal, but tomorrow he is going to take the stage looking like an agent from the first James Bond movie. So everybody go and check him out and enjoy the shows ;)

Ohh I haven't posted for a long time now, but I have an excuse- I have been really busy. Last week I did a new fashion gallery which you can see from here: http://www.kaubamaja.ee/moegalerii/ , photographer was Laura Kallasvee and make up was done by Mammu, styling by me - our usual Fgallery team :)

and this week hasn't been easier either. I'm going to have a photoshoot on this Friday, so I have been working on it every single day. Its going to be 8-10 pages. Color palette for the shoot is white-blue-black-silver-grey, a lot of sparkling stuff and glitters.. Photographer will be Erik Riikoja, make up and hair by Mammu, styling me :)

When I was looking up Fall/Winter 2010-2011 hairstyle trends I found a picture of Fendi's F/W 2010-11 show. I haven't looked up the show before and it was a mistake.. I love it. I love the clothes, styling, colours, fabrics, make up, hairstyle etc..

Ohh I had such a nice weekend.. on Friday night I just stayed home and watched movies, this decision lead to the early awakening on Saturday morning and then all the nice things started to happen :)

I went to Kardrioru Park to gather some fall leaves for a small photoshoot, and the weather was fantastic- sun was shining, it was quite warm, and all the trees were so colorful and leaves looked like they were painted by some artists.. anyhow my sister (Gethe) took some really nice photos and too be honest she got too carried away- we have like million photos of that day.. but I don't mind, at least I have some photos with high quality.. nice to have a photographer in our family :)

Matthew Williamson S/S 2011

Another designer who deserves mentioning is Matthew Williamson. probably you all remember his maxi dresses and bold prints when he did a collection for H&M.

Well his dresses are still as fantastic as they have been through the years.

In his Spring/Summer 2011 collection he truly showed the artistic side of him. Some of the pieces looked like historical sculptures, which were really authentic.

Nature colours of cream, green, lime, different shades of khaki, a mix of orange and metallic tones blended in effortlessly. Shades of blues sucked you in immediately and the embellishments looked just as luxurious as they probably are.

Christopher Kane S/S 2011

There's no doubt about it that Christopher Kane deserves a seperate post!

He is one of the most talented designer of his generation.

His Spring/Summer 2010 in London Fashion Week just blew me away.

I wish I could have taken part from this show and even more I wish I could touch the clothes to actually feel the garments he used.. ohh dreams are nice aren't they :)

Look at those floral prints on the leather skirts and jackets - at first I didn't even realised that the material he was using was leather!!!

It looks as if the girls are wearing simple lace skirts. Moreover, the neon has never felt more fresh!

The show evolved with sheer lace dresses. One of my favorite was an elegant pleated lace dress of peach just makes you wanna wear it :) looks tasteful!

Thin leather belts, which was used through out the show, complemented the looks!

And when you thought that this was it you were wrong :)

After seeing all those fresh clean colours, mr. Kane had an idea to mix them and he developed a powerful dragon print. Colourful prints, pleated dresses and skirts, and a touch of neon worked wonderfully.

Christopher you truly are a genious!

Today the Design Festival Design Night Tallinn started again; it is an annual design festival.

I checked out the programme and found some interesting fashion shows I would like to attend.

On Saturday at 6 pm fashion show named "Design at Your Service" and on Sunday at 7 pm a show "Out of Fashion" tooks place. I will be there!

London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011

It is the last day of London Fashion Week, but I just haven't had any time to overview all the shows coming up daily. I'm going to post some of my favorite moments of the shows.

Well I'm always anxious to see Vivienne Westwood's collections. She's so different from the other designers and always recongisable. Her clothes just are so twisted and bold.

Her Spring/Summer 2011 Red Label (this is the cheaper line for younger people) unfortunately was not that interesting as I hoped, but still worth to mention

...don't worry Vivienne I'm not ready to leave you!

I discovered a new favorite of mine, or at least I adore his Spring/Summer 2011 collection and it is ERDEM, a newcomer so to say and his doing pretty good!

I love the use of lace and the colours.. undoubtedly the symbiosis of red and white always works!
Not to mention the printed flowers which gives to the whole concept a touch of eastern part of the world. I would like to own one of his maxi dresses, the cut is so simple, but looks elegant.

Nude make up and a bit messy braided hair gave the last touch for the whole look.

Room full of stuff.. at least!!!
I have been sorting out all the stuff I can use in my next photoshoot and to be honest, I didn't know that I have so much things stored up already :) But its a good thing - less borrowing from the stores!

And again I'm a student. But this time an art student in Estonian Academy of Art, I'm studying fashion stylistics to be precise and I love it. All the classes that we have are so interesting and weird at the same time.. for example doesn't it sound strange that in one class we are suppose to draw lines, only lines with a charcoal and you are suppose to that 1,5 hours a row ? But still I love it, at least I know now how a perfect line should look..

or what about colourful papers? we were suppose to make a composition of them and see the rhythm of colours.. paparaaa I can feel the rhythm .

And of course drawing classes, were we all just get blamed of not seeing the perspective and vanishing points.. well what can you do really?

My favourite class of all- PAINTING. There's no alternative activity for relaxing and expressing your emotions at the same time. You just need to love painting!

Ohh I just had a fantastic meeting with a new photographer, with who I havent done any work so far.. about 2 months ago he asked me if I would like to do a shoot with him and of course I said yes.. unfortunately the time when he approched me wasnt the best one, so the time just passed by and we didnt do any shoots. BUT now! we met again, had a creative meeting and we have a wonderful idea what we would like to do.. SO its time for me to get busy and start putting things together.. I just feel so enthusiastic again :) and fortunately I have some time before I'm going to do the next season of Hooaeg magazine again..

Due to the fact that our shooding concept is all about trashy and more is MORE, I decided to visit very cool thrift store MORŠ , check their website and blog http://www.mors.ee/ and to be honest I think I'm going to use most of their clothes in that shoot.. and of course, as always when I visit MORŠ, I couldnt walk out without buying sth. So now I have a beautiful vintage dress with a bow tie, slim belt and a nice pair of boots.. Im going to wear them tomorrow, so probably im going to ask to take some pics of me to show you the things you can find from that store ;)

And now just listen! Its probably the best song I have heard lately. Brilliant choice of different sounds and the form how they are put together is just ingenious. And dont forget the video - it will suck you into the mystical world!

Autumn has arrived and its time to decorate your home and rooms with colourful leaves.

This season's key items!

I know its already autumn and we are looking ahead to spring/summer, but we can find autumn collections from the stores at the moment. Therefore I'm just going to point out some things to bear in mind while rushing through the stores!

1. Sheepskin & Teddy furs
jackets, capes, hats, gloves, footwear, bags
I already have a vest covered with sheepskin, but im defenately in a need of hat with sheepskin as well. As a fact I was asked to draw a sketch for one of the Estonian hat designers so as to let her now what kind of hats I would like to see in the biggest department store in Estonia (Tallinna Kaubamaja). I guess when she's done making of it I can have the sample.. :)

2. The Aviator jacket
even better when the jacket is with sheepskin (macro trend this season)

3. 50s style dresses
longer skirt lengths, feminine dresses, an hourglass sihouette
I have bought some very nice skirts from the thrift stores.. you just need to love those stores. I wish we could have real vintage stores here in Estonia...

4. Knits
All kinds of knits. New trend is to wear your massive knits as outerwear, just stress your waist with a belt to show that hourglass figure.

In these photos you can see my styling for the magazine Hooaeg. It was a story about knits and different ways to wear it. There's a video of that shoot as well. Im going to post the link soon :)

5. Snood
This is a nice accessory to add to your outfit. I really love the chunky knitted ones which you can actually wear as a scarf and when its snowing you can just pull that over your head and you have a hood. Fantastic 2-in-1 piece.

6. Military and history
And of course we can not have an autumn without military theme and a taste of history.
Although its not a new trend you can easily notice some new shapes and influences from the history.
There's a sense of romance and inspiration from Rococo and Baroque. You need to love the burnished metal buttons which are used massively in this trend.

Of course there are more items and style tips, but these are the ones that are in my mind at the moment. Let you know of the rest in my next posts!

New longer length skirts

Ohh how I love the new length of skirts this season. They just are so feminine and to be honest after all those seasons with leggings and over-sized shirts, longer skirts just feel like a fresh breeze in the fashion world. I absolutely adore Louis Vuitton's A/W 2010 looks inspired from the 50s.

Burberry=Emma Watson

Absoluutselt mitte ei ole ma tuttav Harry Potteri filmidega, ilmselt olen näinud a la kahte osa vms. Igal juhul seda ma tean, et üheks peaosatäitjaks ja osaliseks võlukambast on Emma Watson- nooruke näitlejatar, kelle ümber moemaailmas viimasel ajal sigimist-sagimist käinud. Nüüd on siis selgus majja saabunud- Emmast on saanud uus Burberry reklaamnägu sügis 2009 kampaania jaoks. Ja ma peaks mainima, et mulle meeldib ta nendel fotodel tohutult. Ja ma usun, et ainult õnn on minu õuel, et ma ei ole Harry Potteri fänn olnud ning suudan neid fotosid täiesti objektiivsel hinnata, ilma, et ta mulle meenutaks 14 aastast noorukit luuavarrel ( või misiganes ta rolli vanus on).

Minust on saanud andunud lipsufänn, mitte selle lipsu, mida mehed kannavad vaid just selle mida mehed ei kanna ehk siis lipsukeste fänn. Oma viimaseid oste tehes olen märkamatult endalegi suutnud kõik asjad muretseda lipsuga- kingad, kleit, juukselõksud, kott ja kindlasti see jada ka jätkuks aga no las ta jääb. Ühesõnaga- kandke lipse, need on naiselikud! Lisaks on ikka ja jälle lipsukesi näha ka moelavadel!

Juba nii mõnigi päev loen inimeste blogisid ja no on huvitav, midagi ei ole teha.

Pean ennast kokku võtma ja saama blogirutiini ning üritama kasvõi no kord nädalas kirjutada.

Igal juhul otsustasin teha veidi moesuunitlusega blogi (kuidas iganes see välja kukub), et siis hoida iseennast update'id veidi rohkem ja panna kirja kõik need asjad, mida igapäevaselt loen, leian, teen, kuulen. Kuna minu töös on moel ja uutel suundadel oluline koht, siis tuleb see kindlasti igati kasuks.

Hmm olen siin nüüd mõni hea minut istunud ja ei tea kust alustada. Millegi pärast hoian ma end tagasi ja mõtlen liialt, mida siia kirjutada :S halb enne. Hea küll ma siis lisan lihtsalt ühe ägeda pildi, mille tahaks pvc-le lasta ja seina panna..tatararaa
Seoses selle pildiga võin kohe mainida, et see on 1 äge fotograaf Miles Aldridge, kelle stiil on igati minu maitsele ja kelle fotolavastusi on lihtsalt lummav vaadata; lummav kõlab vast liiga romantiliselt, pigem on fotod intrigeerivad ja huvitavad (kuigi huvitav on no lihtsalt liiga igavalt öeldud); igal juhul püüdleks ma isegi hea meelega selle stiili poole- veidi arrogantsust, isekust, huumorit, sotsiaalset kriitikat, ületamatut stiili, vägevaid outfite ja voila supper foto.
